NEW PRINT SERIES: ESSENCE OF EXMOOR
‘Essence of Exmoor’ is the first chapter in a series of long-term fine art photography projects exploring the natural rhythms and quiet lives of wildlife within their landscapes.
Created through long-term observation, each image honours the ponies’ quiet presence and rugged beauty, while acknowledging the fragile edge they now occupy.
With approximately 3,000-4,000 remaining worldwide and no more than 500 ponies roaming freely on the moor, their story is one of survival and gradual fading. This body of work is are more than art; it’s a lasting record of a wild heritage at risk.
Bring the spirit of Exmoor into your space… a tribute to nature’s quiet strength and enduring beauty.
ABOUT the ARTIST
In the wild, time moves differently… quietly, relentlessly, often unnoticed. I spend weeks and months in these moments, observing, waiting, and understanding, so I can capture what often missed: a lion emerging at dusk, the stillness before a storm over the savannah, the subtle grace of an elephant herd on the move.
My photography is not just about creating beautiful images; it’s about telling stories that matter. Every frame is part of a larger dialogue—predator and prey, light and shadow, life and landscape—revealing the rhythms and truths of some of Earth’s last truly wild places.
These images are a form of conservation with purpose. They are more than photographs; they are messages from the wild. They show what persists—resilience, adaptability, beauty—and what is fading—silence, solitude, untouched landscapes. Each print is an invitation to witness, reflect, and connect with a world that cannot be fully captured, only honoured.
Through my work, I aim to create more than art: I aim to create a lasting record of the natural world, a number of series that inspires wonder, fosters respect, and encourages action. Collectors of my work don’t just acquire images… they bring a piece of this dialogue, this living world, into their own space to be a part of their lives.

NEW DATES SHOMPOLE + AMBOSELI 2026
Join me for an 8-day photo safari in Kenya, limited to just 4 guests
If Africa were a dream, this would be it… beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli’s vast plains are home to some of the most extraordinary elephants on Earth, including the legendary Super Tuskers, whose immense ivory nearly brushes the ground. This safari pairs time with these giants with something altogether more intimate at the Shompole hides, where as night falls, the wild quietly gathers just metres away, animals emerging from the darkness to drink, offering a rare, almost surreal chance to witness and photograph them up close. From iconic, dust-lit scenes beneath Kilimanjaro to the quiet drama of nocturnal life, this is Africa at its most powerful, atmospheric, and unforgettable… don't wait for "someday".
