Despite the formidable size of their horns, Highland cattle possess a surprisingly amiable nature and a curious demeanor, as evidenced by this particular black individual. During my encounter with this majestic creature on Exmoor, we both found ourselves contending with the relentless onslaught of strong winds and driving rain. However, it quickly became apparent that one of us was far better equipped to weather the elements than the other! As I continue to dry out from our encounter, I can't help but marvel at the resilience and adaptability of these remarkable creatures.
